Consuming alcohol or wine in moderation does provide health benefits to some folks. But studies show they can cause high blood pressure in others. Alcohol-sensitive people should avoid these beverages altogether because alcohol-related blood pressure problems don’t respond to medication. The bottom line is: alcohol and high blood pressure don’t mix!
