There’s “berry” good news for those of you wanting to naturally lower your cholesterol. Researchers from United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) say a compound found in blueberries—called pterostilbene—can significantly help lower “bad” LDL cholesterol levels. In lab results, the compound worked just as well as prescription medications—minus the dangerous side effects!
